Image processing

When you choose an image, the file is read into your browser's memory. Subject detection, silhouette compositing, Smart Brush corrections, and PNG export happen on your device. SilMaker does not upload the selected image to an application server and does not keep a server-side copy of it.

Closing or refreshing the page clears the working image from the page. A downloaded result remains wherever you chose to save it on your device.

If you previously submitted information through SilMaker, email hello@silmaker.com with questions or requests about it. We will review requests using the information available to us and our applicable obligations.

Model and software files

Your browser downloads software needed for local processing. Transparent files and some simple backgrounds can skip the subject-detection model; complex images download that model when needed. These files may be served by third-party content delivery networks. As with an ordinary web request, those providers may receive technical request data such as an IP address, browser type, requested file, and timestamp. The image you selected is not included in those model or software requests.

Your browser may cache these files so later conversions can start faster.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

When the script loads, Google may receive ordinary technical request data and may use cookies or similar technologies in connection with AdSense. The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and page performance. Its browser beacon collects performance data for the page being viewed without using cookies, local storage, or cross-site tracking. Cloudflare also receives ordinary technical request data while delivering and protecting the site. The image you select is not included in analytics, advertising, or hosting requests.

SilMaker loads the Google AdSense script for site verification, but ad units are not enabled while site review is pending. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Where required, SilMaker will use a Google-certified consent management platform before serving personalized ads.

Your choices

• Do not choose an image you do not want processed locally in your browser.
• Use browser settings to clear cached site data or restrict storage.
• Use Google Ads Settings to manage personalized advertising choices.

Children and sensitive images

SilMaker is a general-purpose creative tool and is not directed to children under 13. Avoid using highly sensitive photographs or images you do not have permission to process.

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated when the site begins using a new analytics, advertising, hosting, or data-handling service. The date at the top will change when a material revision is published.

Contact form

When you send the contact form, SilMaker sends the name, reply email, subject, and message to its configured email delivery service so the operator can respond. Do not include sensitive images or unnecessary personal information.

Current tool and services

The current public editor creates filled silhouettes, outlines, and original-color background-removed PNGs. Processing and mask correction stay in the browser. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and its Web Analytics service receives page-performance data. The AdSense verification script is present, while source configuration keeps Auto Ads and manual slots disabled until they are enabled separately.
