Privacy Policy

SilMaker at https://silmaker.com is built to process selected images on your device. This policy explains what that means and which ordinary network requests still occur.

Image processing

When you choose a photo, it opens in your browser’s memory. Silhouette creation, background removal, Smart Brush edits, and PNG export all happen on your device. SilMaker does not upload that photo to its servers or keep a server-side copy.

Closing or refreshing the page clears the working image from the page. A downloaded result remains wherever you chose to save it on your device.

Contact form

If you send the contact form, your name, reply email, subject, and message are sent through Cloudflare’s email service so I can respond. The form does not send the photo open in the editor. Please leave out sensitive or unnecessary personal information.

Previously submitted information

If you previously submitted information through SilMaker, email hello@silmaker.com with questions or requests about it. We will review requests using the information available to us and our applicable obligations.

Model and software files

Your browser downloads software needed for local processing. Transparent files and some simple backgrounds can skip the subject-detection model; complex images download that model when needed. These files may be served by third-party content delivery networks. As with an ordinary web request, those providers may receive technical request data such as an IP address, browser type, requested file, and timestamp. The image you selected is not included in those model or software requests.

Your browser may cache these files so later conversions can start faster.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

When the Google AdSense script loads, Google may receive technical request data and use cookies or similar technologies. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on those visits. To see how Google uses this information, visit policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

SilMaker also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and performance. Its browser beacon does not use cookies, local storage, or cross-site tracking.

Cloudflare receives technical request data when hosting and protecting the site. Your selected photo is not included in analytics, advertising, or hosting requests.

SilMaker currently loads the AdSense script for site verification. Ad placements are not enabled in the site. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Where required, SilMaker will use a Google-certified consent management platform before serving personalized ads.

Your choices

  • Do not choose an image you do not want processed locally in your browser.
  • Use browser settings to clear cached site data or restrict storage.
  • Use Google Ads Settings to manage personalized advertising choices.

Children and sensitive images

SilMaker is a general-purpose creative tool and is not directed to children under 13. Avoid using highly sensitive photographs or images you do not have permission to process.
